Cannabinoid Content Analysis (GC-FID)

Determines the content of the six major cannabinoids (Δ9-THC, CBD, CBC, Δ8-THC, CBG, CBN) as weight percentage by gas chromatography. The content analysis by CBD-Test can be used for all of the necessary steps when introducing cannabis products (with the exception of foodstuffs) onto the market in Switzerland as well as for international trade.

Loss on Drying

For the determination of the residual water content in dried plant material. Optimum moisture content ensures the consistency of flowers, prevents attack by fungi, and guarantees that contractual agreements with buyers can be adhered to. The analysis is carried out using a moisture analyser. For optimum results, we also recommend carrying out a terpene analysis and determining the level of decarboxylation.
